Associate Professor Satieva K.R. and teacher Kurmangali L.S. November 29, 2023 conducted an on-site lesson for students of group OZ-021 OP 6B08302 - “Hunting and game management” in the discipline “Reserve management” in the Western Altai State Nature Reserve in the city of Ridder. In terms of faunal wealth, the Western Altai State Reserve occupies one of the leading places among the reserves of Kazakhstan. During the on-site lesson, students visited the museum of the reserve, where they got acquainted with rare exhibits of the animal and plant world of the Eastern region of Kazakhstan. Employees of the reserve told the history of the creation of the reserve, as well as about the measures taken to protect and preserve the animals living in the reserve.
